On Wednesday 22 nd March, Cultúr held its first conversational English class in Ratoath, Co. Meath.
This is an important step in bringing Cultúr’s community development work into East Meath. The
class is hosted by volunteers from within the community of Ratoath, and provides an opportunity for
them to welcome migrants and give them a space where they can practise their English language
skills in a supportive environment. Cultúr would like to thank Eilish Balfe from Happy Days Childcare
who offered us the use of a room for the class, and the management at The Venue for their ongoing
support. Classes continue every Wednesday (during the school term) from 7pm to 9pm. New
