Cultúr Migrant Centre marked its 20th anniversary with a celebration at the Newgrange Hotel, Navan. Attendees included over 100 community members, current staff and founding members, service providers, Board Directors, volunteers and other stakeholders who reflected on Cultúr’s past achievements and stressed the organization’s central role in driving inclusive community programmes.

Giving her welcome remarks, Cultúr’s Programme Manager, Tinu Achioya, said, “This milestone is not just a celebration of our past achievements, but a beacon of hope for the future. We are dedicated to building bridges, fostering understanding, and empowering our community.”

Beneficiaries, community leaders, and partners reflected on the current challenges faced by migrants and took time to celebrate Cultur’s impact in championing underrepresented communities. Current staff members and founding members took a trip down memory lane, reflecting on their own experiences and the impact of their work in the community.

The event was enlivened by song and dance showcasing the rich tapestry of cultural traditions within the local community. It was a great opportunity for attendees to connect, share stories, and celebrate the collective achievements of the past two decades.

Mrs. Yemi Adenuga, Board Chairperson of Cultúr, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Today, we celebrate not just the legacy of Cultúr, but the resilient spirit of our community.
