PolskaÉire Navan 2018

Successful 2nd edition of PolskaÉire Festival in Navan took place on Sunday 3rd of June officially opened by Cllr Tommy Reilly Mayor of Navan and Lukasz Chimiak 1st Counsellor, Head of the Political & Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin. The event was carried out with collaboration of Polish Embassy, Credo Polish Association in Ireland, Cultúr Migrant Centre and Polish Saturday School in Navan. Over 400 people attended and participated in various family activities and enjoyed stage performances. Visitors had an opportunity to discover interesting facts about life in early Medieval Age in Vikings settlement and see their armament and fights. Local businesses presented their goods on the day. The fantastic performers took possession of stage, their present different style of music, artistic gymnastics, some drama and dance acts.
There was a lot of fun activities for the youngest Festival participants and the delicious intercultural food available made happy every food lover happy on the day. The beautiful weather completed family and fun event on St. Patrick’s School Grounds. Thank you all for joining us!
